Packsang Metals Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as 'Company') values your personal information and complies with the laws regarding "Promotion of Information and Communications Network Utilization and Information Protection." The Company informs you through this Privacy Policy about how the personal information you provide is used for what purposes and in what ways, and what measures are being taken to protect personal information.

    All information provided by members is not used for purposes other than those necessary for the above purposes, and when the scope of collected information or purpose of use changes, necessary measures such as obtaining separate consent will be implemented.

3. Retention and Use Period of Personal Information

In principle, personal information is destroyed without delay after the purpose of collection and use is achieved. However, when preservation is necessary according to relevant laws, the Company preserves member information for the period specified by relevant laws as follows.

  • - Records related to contracts or withdrawal of offers: 5 years (Consumer Protection Act in Electronic Commerce, etc.)

  • - Records related to consumer complaints or dispute resolution: 3 years (Consumer Protection Act in Electronic Commerce, etc.)

4. Procedure and Method for Destruction of Personal Information

The Company destroys personal information without delay after the purpose of collection and use is achieved. The destruction procedure and method are as follows.

Destruction Procedure
Information entered by members for registration purposes is moved to a separate database after the purpose is achieved (or to a separate document box in case of paper documents) and stored for a certain period according to internal policies and other relevant laws for information protection reasons (refer to retention and use period), then destroyed.
Personal information moved to a separate database is not used for purposes other than retention unless required by law.

Destruction Method
Personal information stored in electronic file format is deleted using technical methods that cannot reproduce the records.

5. Personal Information Provision

The Company does not provide users' personal information to external parties in principle. However, exceptions are made in the following cases:
When users have given prior consent, when required by law, or when there are requests from investigative agencies following procedures and methods specified by law for investigative purposes

The Company operates by entrusting external specialized companies as follows for service implementation.

7. Rights of Users and Legal Representatives and How to Exercise Them

Users and legal representatives can view or modify their own personal information or that of children under 14 years of age at any time, and can also request withdrawal of registration.

For viewing/modifying personal information of users or children under 14 years of age, click 'Personal Information Change' (or 'Member Information Modification', etc.), and for withdrawal of registration (withdrawal of consent), click "Member Withdrawal" and go through identity verification procedures to directly view, correct, or withdraw. Alternatively, contact the personal information management officer in writing, by phone, or email for prompt processing.

When you request correction of errors in personal information, the personal information will not be used or provided until the correction is completed. Also, if incorrect personal information has already been provided to third parties, the correction results will be notified to third parties without delay to ensure correction is made.

The Company processes personal information that has been withdrawn or deleted at the request of users or legal representatives according to the "Retention and Use Period of Personal Information Collected by the Company" and processes it so that it cannot be viewed or used for other purposes.
